Iron Hand Isolation Project

With the final issues of the Conquest magazine having arrived it is time to ensure that this amounts to at least one finished army. The plan is to make 2 Space Marine chapter forces from the models. My custom chapter is started and will be the Primaris only infantry focused force. The vehicles and old school marines will form the core of an Iron Hands force which I plan to focus on during the lockdown.

I have started on the recently received Primaris Repulsor issues, added the Forge World Iron Hands Repulsor Doors and primed it along the ETB Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought from early issues to start the core of the army.

This will be my main models to paint as practice for future Ork vehicle backlog clearing. I also have an attack bike, 3 bikes and a land speeder built from other Conquest magazines to be primed. Then I need to build the extras I have purchased including 2 more land speeders, the Iron Father model, a full kit redemptor dreadnought and a venerable dreadnought who will get some extras and be a chaplain dreadnought.

Then for infantry I have a few old school marine characters who will all be Iron Hands plus 15 Intercessors to build with the Iron Hands upgrade packs. I have 10 sniper scouts to build and 10 shotgun scouts ready to prime plus more scouts I had primed ready for Kill Team. Finished of with some Eliminators and Suppressors from the Shadowspear set that are built and some primed.

To continue the tradition of buying models I dont need yet, I purchased an Ironclad dreadnought for its chunky look and the new preview Librarian Terminator so I can go all terminator heros and dreadnoughts if I want when I collect more dreads.

The plan is to get the enough of the army finished so I have fully finished army with options when we can play again. I will be following the Iron Hands supplement colour scheme of black, white and gun metal. Basing to be decided as I more stocks of glue and paints than basing supplies.

The aim is to ensure I see progress every week with an update, ideally doing some painting every day.
